My senior year project in the Product Design
program at Stanford was a self-erecting collapsible street hockey
goal. It was designed to be very portable and to set up very quickly.
The rubberized hinges in the corners cause the goal to spring open
when unlatched and also absorb the shock of wayward hockey players. |

goalie. |

The entire goal folds up into a long, thin
package which can be strapped over the shoulder of the player, who
can easily walk, cycle or skate to the game location. Designed in
consultation with a group of street hockey players, the goal was a
big hit. |

One of my earlier design projects was the
"Sunsleeve", which holds 6 CD's on a car's sunvisor. Although
there is an identical consumer product, I was unaware of its existence
at the time and designed this product entirely independently. |

This guitar pick holder grew out of my
musical interests. It is intended to convey its relationship to the
guitar while offering an inviting place to deposit and store guitar
picks. |
